Scope of Application

The present Data Protection Statement explains to users the type, extent and purposes of the collection and use of personal data on this website by the controlling service provider (d-con.net GmbH, Johannesstraße 48a, 2371 Hinterbrühl, Austria, office@d-con.net, +43 1 616 32 17 – 0).

The legal basis for data protection can be found in the Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG, Federal Law Gazette no. 165/1999) and the Austrian Media Act (Mediengesetz, MedienG, Federal Law Gazette no. 314/1981).

Communication

When establishing communication with the service provider (for example, by contact form or by email) the user’s data are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Analytics Tool

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses technologies that allow a user to be recognised across pages for the analysis of user behaviour. The information collected by Matomo about how this website is used will be stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before storage.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data about how website visitors use our website. This enables us to find out, among other things, which pages were viewed and when. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browser used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions.

The use of this analysis tool is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (f) DSGVO (GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
